Inspired and Designed by Ski Legend Jean-Claude Killy, New Line Features 80 Styles Designed for Fashion Consumer Looking for the Best in Performance

ANNECY, FRANCE (Jan. 17, 2007) – Eider, the French snowsports/mountaineering brand, today announced that it has signed a 10-year agreement to market and design the Killy snowsports brand, inspired by Olympic ski legend Jean-Claude Killy. The new line, to be unveiled at the Snowsports Industries America (SIA) tradeshow next week, features more than 80 styles that embrace the highest level of performance technology in combination with the best of fashion. The women's and men's line will be available in selected snowsports specialty stores for the winter '07-08 season.

“Killy is based on the profound desire to exceed expectations and to continue to inspire ski and snowboard enthusiasts worldwide,” said Jean Claude Killy. “For over 40 years from the heart of the alps, Eider, our partner, has been designing and producing technical products with an expertise born of the mountain culture. Together, we will move forward with the Killy brand, re-defining elegance and technical performance in a new era that will see the ultimate fusion of fashion and function.”

About Killy: Killy, based in Annecy, France, embraces the spirit and energy of Jean-Claude Killy, an accomplished ski legend who won three gold medals in the 1968 Grenoble Olympics and was instrumental in winning selection for Albertville, France as the venue for the 1992 Olympics. The Killy brand has come to symbolize elegance, beauty and performance. In partnership with Eider, an established French outdoor/winter sports brand, Killy will build upon its legacy by offering a first class collection of apparel designed for the discerning consumer who demands the latest fashion, versatility and function.

About Eider: Eider was established in 1962 in the heart of the French Alps, close to Mont Blanc. For Eider, the mountains have been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for developing the brand's values and guiding its research. The Eider philosophy is closely linked to the alpine world: authenticity, open-mindedness, commitment, and above all, the humanity essential to adventure. The name, ‘Eider' comes from the name of a north-European duck whose down is known to be the highest quality in the world.
