Egor Sorokin, a 21 year old freeskier from Sochi Russia, will be riding KLIИT skis this winter. Egor competed on several stops of the Freeride World Tour last winter with notable top 15 finishes at both Chamonix France and Krasnaya Polyana Russia, an unusual accomplishment for such young skier on some of the biggest mountains in the world..
"I think that skiing on KLIИT is a huge opportunity" Egor says of his new ride. "I have followed the way that they have positioned themselves as a high performance brand through thier team of great riders and the sponsorship of Level 1 films."
Egor lives in the village that will host the 2014 Olympic Games. A new ski resort has just opened, Rosa Khutor, with close to 2,000 vertical feet to explore. Egor says, "..this new resort has amazing terrain with opportunities to find new lines and big drops, for me the steeper the hill the better!" Egor also spends much of his winter training in the French Alps.
Egor joins the KLIИT team that includes Tanner Rainville, Liam Downey, John Spriggs, Erik Roner, Brian Kish, Will Hibbs, Tyler Duncan and Christopher Strande.
