The 18,097 square-foot store triples the size of its former location, providing expanded product selections for the urban outdoor enthusiast. The store showcases apparel and gear for backpacking, camping, climbing, hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking and skiing. New signature services include expert bike technicians, foot gurus for personalized fittings, a first-time paddlesport section for recreational and whitewater consumers, and a comprehensive travel-planning library. Our product offerings reflect rising urban outdoor trends, including bicycle commuting, trail running, kayaking, even bouldering in Central Park. The new space allows us to provide a more personalized shopping experience, enabling our customers to immerse themselves in a memorable outdoor experience.”

The selection of gear and apparel includes Eastern Mountain Sports’ proprietary products such as its outerwear layering system SYNC and Techwick®, its versatile, moisture management base layer and new apparel brands such as Icebreaker and Smartwool.
