Eagle Creek and National Geographic Launch New Eco-Friendly Collection Designed to Get the Family Outdoors

Eagle Creek and National Geographic have partnered to offer a collection of bags with family adventure and the environment in mind. The National Geographic Adventure collection inspires Moms and Dads to get the kids out in nature, take a family road trip or camp in the wild using bags made with innovative new recycled materials. Eagle Creek’s heritage in sustainable outdoor and adventure products, along with National Geographic’s legacy of exploration and environmental stewardship, make this the ideal collection to pack up the whole family and begin making memories outdoors.

As the original manufacturer of travel backpacks, packing organizers and adventure travel luggage, Eagle Creek lends a reputation of quality, sustainability and durability to everything we do. For the Adventure collection, designers went another level by sourcing a unique recycled material using glass fished out of landfills to create a water and scratch-resistant coating that makes the bags friendly to the environment as well as functional.

“We wanted to build something that lives up to Eagle Creek and National Geographic quality standards and still packs in the value,” said Mark Davis, Product Line Manager at Eagle Creek. “Our new Adventure series elevates the innovation of a recycled water-resistant coating (RPVB) made from discarded automobile windshields to make these products not only super durable but also more environmentally friendly. The look speaks to a wide range of users who love outdoor aesthetics, and of course, the usability is what we focused on most, so everyone can have a great travel experience.”

The Adventure line includes a variety of practical silhouettes that are perfect for travel, camping, day hikes as well as everyday life. The collection includes Eagle Creek’s most popular styles and sizes.
