Julia Clark Day has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing for Leisure Trends Group®. In discussing her promotion, Leisure Trends founder and president Jim Spring spoke highly of Day's seven-year tenure with the company.

“Leisure Trends is only as good as its people, and Julia personifies the high level of service we represent, a dogged persistence to bring solutions to our customers, and an exemplary work ethic,” Spring said. “Most importantly, Julia is my right arm and left brain when it comes to decisions regarding sales direction, positioning and marketing.”

Spring said he appreciates Day's wide range of experience, marketing strategy and business instincts. Best known for her leadership in the company's retail tracking division, Spring said Day's impact on the company has been felt throughout Leisure Trends operations including consumer research, product registration, corporate communications and, most recently, helping to design and create the Single Solution suite of services for Leisure Trends' burgeoning customer relationship management division.

Day began her career in radio in Florida, which is where she says she learned research is imperative to success. She left radio for print, working as Sales Director for Fly Fishing in Saltwaters magazine. Day remains a champion fly-fisherman, as well as avid skier, hiker and organic gardener.
