Since joining the organization last year, David’s contributions have bolstered the publications’ coverage of the outdoor and fitness industries — particularly on the financial and legal fronts. His timely, high-quality reporting speaks directly to the businesses’ most influential executives. From breaking news on Black Diamond’s growth-through-acquisition strategy and Cloudveil’s management restructure to thoroughly researching the latest winter safety gear, David brings unparalleled analysis to critical corporate and product developments.

And he does it all with a positive outlook and, as an avid outdoorsman himself, a genuine passion for his subject matter.

“Nearly a year and a half ago, my third day on the job was being thrown into covering Outdoor Retailer Winter Market for SNEWS,” Clucas said. “Luckily, I survived!
