CW-X STRENGTHENS TIES TO RUNNING MARKET

NEW YORK, N.Y. (May 15, 2008) - The running market has never been more important to the success of Wacoal Sports Science Corp.'s CW-X Conditioning Wear brand of tights, tops, shorts and sport bras (www.cw-x.com). The company traces its roots back to the running tights it introduced in August 2002, a time when many retailers didn't know what to make of the bold criss-cross black and grey tights that promised to provide more support for muscles and joints.

That was then. This is now. Today the company is strengthening its ties to runners even further with a series of new marketing initiatives.

An edgy Web campaign on Runnersworld.com launched in May features a woman apologizing to the men who no longer can ogle her when she runs in her new CW-X Xtra Sport Support Bra. Beyond May, the campaign will expand into more online advertising placed on more active sports enthusiast Web sites (See the campaign at
http://www.runnersworld.com/bratool/).

A complementary print campaign will appear in a selection of vertical sports magazines in May including Runner's World, Shape and Women's Health. The print campaign features an eye-catching close-up of a female runner wearing multiple sports bras - at the same time - her attempt to get the support she really wants from just one sports bra.

The market is further targeted in a series of print ads shot in the California desert showing male and female runners holding aloft an air conditioner that represents the increased cooling power they receive with new CW-X Ventilator Tights with stretch mesh panels located in the body's key hot zones to reduce skin surface temperatures.

Wacoal Sports Science Corp. is further expanding its commitment to running by supporting its specialty retailers at major U.S. marathons in 2008, including the Boston, Chicago and New York events.

What's more, the company is a charter sponsor of The Running Event conference - a four-day conference and expo that brings together specialty retailers, vendors, race directors and training groups to grow the specialty running business (www.therunningevent.com).

The company is also a new member of the Independent Running Retailers Assoc., a non-profit association promoting the interests of every independent specialty running retailer in the U.S. (www.theirra.com).
