CW-X PARTNERS WITH AMERICAN TRAIL RUNNING ASSOCIATION (ATRA) AND THE TEVA U.S. MOUNTAIN RUNNING TEAM

NEW YORK, N.Y. (Oct. 9, 2008) – Wacoal Sports Science Corp., New York, recently entered into an agreement with the Teva U.S. Mountain Running Team on behalf of its CW-X Conditioning Wear to provide running tights for the 2009 team. CW-X Conditioning Wear (www.cw-x.com) is the world's first truly anatomically engineered high performance sports apparel.

John L.A. Wilson, president and COO of Wacoal Sports Science Corp., says of the agreement, “For almost six years since we introduced CW-X in the U.S., we had been receiving glowing testimonials from explorers, adventurers, and elite mountain runners. This new relationship with this hard-core team of mountain runners will provide us with an opportunity to effectively demonstrate product performance in harsh conditions.

“There can be no better proving ground,” said Wilson, a former collegiate track athlete.

Adds Nancy Hobbs, manager of the Teva U.S. Mountain Running Team,
“We are looking forward to our relationship with CW-X whose mission is to meet the sports performance needs of active athletes. Our team members certainly fall into the ‘active athlete' category. In the coming year we will work closely with the staff at Wacoal Sports Science to create more awareness for their brand through their relationship with the mountain team.”

The Teva U.S. Mountain Running Team has been title sponsored by Teva, the official footwear of the team, since 2002. The 2009 team will compete in the 25th World Mountain Running Championships in Europe in September 2009. This year's World Championship races will be held on an up/down course (as opposed to even-numbered years when the events are run on an uphill-only course) with the senior men running 12 km, the senior women and junior men running 8 km, and the junior women running just under 4 km (course distances are approximate).

The CW-X Conditioning Web is specifically tuned to provide total support to the key muscle groups and joints of the lower limbs and upper body. CW-X is made for a wide variety of high-energy activities, including running, fitness walking, hiking, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, track and field, and other fitness activities. Wacoal Sports Science has been issued patents for CW-X technology in Japan and Europe, with 12 patents in the U.S. alone.

The product is also endorsed by the Canadian Alpine and Para-Alpine Ski teams, and USA Luge team, as well as world-class athletes in a variety of outdoor endurance sports including adventure racing teams, mountain climbers, ultra distance racers, and the company's Sports Medicine Advisory Board.

The Wacoal Sports Science Corp. is headquartered at 136 Madison Avenue, New York, N.Y. 10016, 212 743 9636, www.cw-x.com.
