Mile High Mountaineering’s Divide 55 Pack Incorporates CORDURA® Brand Fabric for Added Durability and Performance

WICHITA, Kan. – With ruggedly innovative designs, backpack manufacturer Mile High Mountaineering wins Elevation Outdoors Magazine Editors Choice Award with its cutting edge Divide 55 pack. The pack features 315 denier ripstop CORDURA® Lite fabric in the main body, 840D denier CORDURA® Ballistic fabric for reinforcement features and 100 denier mini-ripstop CORDURA® Ultralite fabric in the pack's extendable collar. Thus, the Divide 55 pack is powered by-the long-lasting strength, versatility and performance consumers have come to depend on from CORDURA® brand fabric technologies.

“Life on the trail is tough. That is why the CORDURA® brand business provides durable fabric solutions that hikers can depend on,” said Cindy McNaull, global CORDURA® brand and marketing director. “We were honored to collaborate with Mile High Mountaineering in their Divide 55 pack and are grateful that Elevation Outdoors Magazine editors has recognized the reliable, lightweight and versatile features in this pack that help make it an ‘Editor's Choice.'”

The Divide 55, equipped with dual-stay sync A.C. suspension, offers an exceptionally stable frame system that allows the pack to handle weight very efficiently, an especially important requirement for 55-65 liter packs. To complement its solid construction, the Mile High Mountaineering design team added many useful features including an integrated rainfly, deployable water bottle holster, fully adjustable harness and a built-in stuff sack compartment. The adjustable dual-pivoting hip belt allows the pack to move with the wearer's body, and the Backdraft air channeled back panel keeps air movement regulated.

“Here at Mile High Mountaineering, we know that the most important aspect of constructing a top-quality pack is choosing premium materials, said Jeff Popp, president and founder of Mile High Mountaineering. “For this reason, we designed our Divide 55 with three specific CORDURA® fabric technologies for targeted strength-to-weight ratio performance. Thus, helping to ensure our packs, and our backpackers, receive the functional and durable performance needed to withstand the trail.”

Available in a variety of colors including green, black, yellow & red, the Mile High Mountaineering Divide 55 pack, featuring CORDURA® fabrics throughout, offers efficient packing and durability for all outdoor adventures.
