PORTLAND, Ore. (January 2, 2007) Innovation leader Cloggens™ Shoes brings another “first” to the molded footwear category with its 3d™ technology. This groundbreaking production method incorporates the unique properties of the company's patented C-Forma™ material to create shoes with three specific densities for enhanced comfort, fit and durability. In addition, Cloggens utilized this advanced multiple-injection process to pioneer true, two-shot color designs for its shoes.

Arriving on store shelves and online in late January '07, the Cloggens Pada is the first molded shoe developed using 3d technology. The lightweight Pada combines outsole-grade C-Forma material for superior durability and skid-resistance with a second, softer formula on the upper and midsole for maximum support and an enhanced fit. A third density in the ultra-soft removable Comfasolesâ„¢ insole provides the ultimate in comfort and cushioning. Well-received by retailers both nationally and internationally, this revolutionary new style is available in an array of dual-color designs and sizes for men, women and children.

According to Cloggens co-founder Troy Lewis, the company has staked its claim in the rapidly growing molded footwear segment through its dedication to product innovation and styling. Lewis credits Cloggens' streamlined operations and a deep pool of talent for its ability to respond quickly to design advances and capitalize on technological developments that improve performance. As a result, the company is distinguishing itself from the competition by offering superior performance features, fashion-forward styling and competitive pricing.

“We're not standing still, but constantly looking for new methods and applications to improve our products and provide greater features and benefits to consumers,” explains Lewis. “With the consumer demand for comfort at an all-time high, our focus is on making shoes that feel and fit even better, are easier to wear, have more style and added features—all at a great value.”

Since its arrival on the market in February 2006, Cloggens has pioneered a whole new concept in molded footwear with sleek, athletic footwear-inspired designs that offer enhanced cushioning, stability and moisture management. Over the last 10 months, Cloggens has led this category in style and innovation with the first shoes to feature a women's-specific last, removable patent-pending Comfasoles footbeds and, now, its groundbreaking 3d technology.

Lewis adds that retailers and consumers can expect to see further advancements when the new line is introduced at the WSA Show in February ‘07.

Like all Cloggens shoes, the Pada is made from a lightweight, durable and easy-to-clean patented C-Forma material and includes Comfasoles footbeds to absorb sweat. These removable insoles naturally support the arch and enhance flexibility and cushioning. An anti-bacterial and anti-microbial upper is odor-resistant and offers maximum cooling and comfort with strategically placed venting in the toebox.

Cloggens' cupped heel ensures that every shoe moves in unison with the foot for protection and stability. The heel strap's proprietary design includes snaps to easily detach the strap for added versatility. A durable, abrasion-resistant, non-marking outsole incorporates Cloggens' distinctive lug pattern to prevent slipping and increase traction.

The new Pada is offered in eight dual-color designs of bright or neutral colorways, and comes in unisex whole sizes 1 – 13, as well as children's sizes. The Pada has suggested retail prices of $30 for adults and $25 for children. It will be available internationally in a variety of stores and through select online retailers beginning in early 2007.

Located in Portland, Ore., Cloggens was created in October 2005 to offer consumers a better line of molded comfort shoes. Since then, the company has been leading this footwear category in style and innovation. With a seasoned team of footwear industry veterans, Cloggens remains on the forefront of product design and technology.
