Top trends categories in our collection for F18 include:

CTR - Introducing ALPIN by Chaos 2018- with non mulesed Merino

The Alpin collection, a snowsport-specific category, rounds out our four-season offering. Drawing from our vast cold-weather experience and deep understanding of product design and development, Alpin by Chaos translates the authenticity of Merino wool into a thoroughly modern headwear collection for passionate winter sport enthusiasts of all ages. Clean lines, comfort, quality, value and, above all, function are the hallmarks of the Alpin collection.

The 2018 Chaos Collection will feature an expanded technical weather protection line for CTR-Chaos Thermal Regulation. CTR, known for headwear, helmet liners, balaclavas, beanies and glove liners, will feature more protection, and better fit, function and warmth in all conditions.

In 2018, the CTR Merino Paramount Collection is expanded. The collection offers a line of winter beanies and liners in reversible styles with a 3M reflective stripe and logo for safety at dusk and dawn. The CTR Paramount is made with double layer Primaloft Merino wool that provides superior warmth and performance, and offers new colors and combinations in 2018. CERTIFIED NON-MULESING MERINO WOOL

Through close partnership with our wool suppliers, we have sourced alternative Merino wools that we can verify are 100% non-mulesed. The Merino used for our Alpin collection is purchased from South Africa, and is fully certified through WTB (Wool/Testing Bureau SA). Our Merino wool is blended with nylon and acrylic for increased durability and a luxurious softness that beats almost anything on the market.

Worldbeat - Main Collection

Chaos takes great pride in Worldbeat, a globally inspired headwear collection that is a mix of eclectic looks that range from street to modern to classic. Worldbeat will have the hat for that - inside and out, day and night, fall or winter. Function informs fashion, knitwear gets more sporty, and reconfigured construction is key. Handmade influences go mainstream with artisanal stitches, artful disrepair and imperfectly mixed materials incorporated into mass-produced items.

FW 2018 /19 Chaos Trends are: ‘’Lofty Aspirations’’ and “Natural Instincts’’.

Natural Instincts - This trend explores a push back to trusting our instincts and connecting with nature. Knits reflect the colors, diversity and imperfections of the natural environment.s. This truly autumnal palette celebrates nature.

Lofty Aspiration is inspired by historical design reinterpreted in a romantic way. Historical references will be fused with modern yarns and finishes, and new classics will have a quiet, understated character. Architectural influences combine form and design. With engineered geometric stitches, classical cables, and cool marble-like melange yarns, simplicity is key.

LUX for all

Chaos designers blend sumptuous yarns of cashmere, alpaca, and Merino wools with ‘soft-hand’ fibers to realize their unique vision. LUX is a collection that is as comfortable to wear as it is striking in any winter setting: apre’ ski, winter days and nights, holidays and work. LUX represents a trend that is more unisex, cleaner and stripped down, but still reflects our deep yearning for the simplicity of the past.

Our World Beat Junior Collection - Chaos’s owners have kids too, and know how fussy they can be, so they pay extra-special attention to fit and only use yarns that feel good against their skin, using warm and cozy liners when extra warmth is required.
