Celtic Pitches In for Ice Age Trail

Brookfield, Wis. (January 16, 2009) – Celtic, a full-service advertising and public relations agency with a passion for the outdoors, recently partnered with the Ice Age Park & Trail Foundation. The agency donated its time to create several print ads and other marketing materials to help build awareness and generate excitement for the Ice Age National Scenic Trail – a thousand-mile footpath located in Wisconsin that celebrates the legacy of the Ice Age.

“We reached out to Ice Age Trail to help draw some additional attention to this fabulous resource,” said Kurt Lingel, executive vice president for Celtic. “The Ice Age Trail is right in our backyard and truly offers a first-rate hiking experience for the countless outdoor adventure seekers that call the upper Midwest home. Plus, the organization that helps support and maintain the trail shares our agency's commitment and passion for outdoor recreation, so it's been a very fun and rewarding partnership.”

As an official “Friend of the Trail,” Celtic will continue to be involved in the future and will be seeking out additional in-kind ways to increase awareness for the Ice Age Trail while encouraging new and experienced hikers to utilize and care for it.
