CamelBak Products LLC today announced the launch of CHOOSE TO RE-USE, a sustainable hydration initiative that reflects CamelBak's commitment to innovative and responsible hydration solutions. With CHOOSE TO RE-USE, CamelBak is helping make it easier for people to choose sustainable hydration over bottled water--not only by leveraging its expertise in portable, re-usable hydration systems, but by providing consumers with convenient sources of great-tasting water in an environmentally mindful way.

“It is important for all of us to minimize our environmental impact” said Sally McCoy CEO of CamelBak Products. “For CamelBak that will be creating radical new hydration solutions that inspire customers to give up bottled water in favor of convenient and re-useable containers.”

“CHOOSE TO RE-USE” will launch at this summer's Outdoor Retailer, in partnership with select CamelBak retailers across the country. With this program, CamelBak will encourage and enable people everywhere to make a small but meaningful change: using a re-usable bottle with tap water rather than bottled water.

To help drive this change, CamelBak is providing selected retailers, a CHOOSE TO RE-USE hydration station that delivers clean, cold, and great-tasting filtered tap water. Filling up at the CamelBak® CHOOSE TO RE-USE hydration station is also free of charge to the end consumer. The hydration station will also function as an education platform for consumers who use it, explaining why it's important to make this seemingly small, but important change in their lives.
Supporting retailers is just the beginning of this effort. The CamelBak® Better Bottle™ is already a part of several other sustainability initiatives in leading companies, including Epic Records. These companies have encouraged employees to give up bottled water by providing them with CamelBak® Better Bottles™ as a sustainable alternative.

CamelBak will also make it easier for Outdoor Retailer attendees to “Choose to Re-use” by providing free water at the CamelBak booth as part of the company's participation in the “Green Steps” program.
