Calling All Axe Heads: Hults Bruk Seeks Brand Ambassadors

Three individuals will receive a year’s worth of Hults Bruk’s world renowned Swedish axes

Åby, Sweden – (July 29, 2016) – Hults Bruk, the world’s oldest active axe manufacturer, seeks brand ambassadors to chop, split, fell and carve with its legendary Swedish axes. These individuals will help test and promote Hults Bruk online by sharing their experiences using the brand’s legendary axes for camping, wood carving, bushcraft, homesteading, and the outdoors.

Wilderness enthusiasts and adventurers are invited to apply and join Hults Bruk’s new ambassador program. Three individuals will be selected based on their own photographs, videos, words and experiences. In addition to having expertise in the outdoors or woodcraft, ideal candidates are actively promoting traditional axe use through online communities and should have a solid following on social media. Ambassadors will receive one Hults Bruk axe to test and review each quarter of the year, plus additional Hults Bruk swag and bragging rights.

Hults Bruk makes authentic, traditional axes world renowned for the brand’s 300-year-old history of forging exceptional Swedish steel. Hults Bruk axes are crafted for those who prefer human power over machines, and the forest over the office. Ambassadors should be similarly rooted when it comes to their influence and contribution to the traditional outdoor way of life.

“We’re blown away by all of the talent, expertise and support we’ve seen and received from our customers so far,” says Matt Huff from Sport Hansa, Hults Bruk’s U.S. importer and distributor. “It’s been less than a year since we launched in the U.S. market, and we hope to keep up the strong momentum by engaging with those fans and key influencers on a deeper level. There’s so much interest in authentic handmade tools, and our customers want to share their stories and experience using our products. We are listening.”

Interested parties must submit either a photo and short essay or video that conveys the essence of using traditional axes and why he or she would make a great Hults Bruk ambassador. Applications are due by August 16, 2016.
