BioLogic Introduces Hard Case™ for iPhone 5

Taipei, Taiwan – BioLogic, a specialist in urban cycling gear, today announced the Hard Case for iPhone 5, a waterproof, rugged aluminum case for the iPhone 5.

“Typically, the more rugged and protective an iPhone case, the bigger and bulkier it is,” stated Kevin Chan, BioLogic product manager. “But with the BioLogic Hard Case we deliver extreme protection in a sleek, pocketable design. It transitions from the office to the outdoors, giving you the confidence of constant protection.”

The Hard Case for iPhone 5 is precision machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and features an internal suspension of silicone for shock protection. The Hard Case’s patented waterproofing technology meets IP68 standards, ensuring protection from heavy rain, snow, dirt, dust, sweat, and sand. The case weighs a feathery 86 grams.

The Hard Case allows full access to all iPhone features, including touchscreen, front and rear cameras, charge port, headphone port, and volume buttons. The included headphone cable adapter allows use of headphones with in-line remotes while still maintaining case waterproofness. The Hard Case has a bead-blasted anodized finish and will be available in both silver and black.

The Hard Case for iPhone 5 has an MSRP of US$125/€125 and will be available worldwide in April 2013. A bracket for bicycle mounting will be available separately in the second quarter of 2013.
