Big Agnes® Inc, maker of innovative sleeping bags, pads and tents, has expanded its warehouse by 60% to meet increased shipping demands. This upgrade has been implemented to increase Big Agnes' efficiency with inventory and delivery as well as honoring an ongoing company mission to serve its customers effectively. Along with the warehouse growth, Big Agnes has moved to 100% wind power at its corporate office and warehouse locations.

“Big Agnes has made a significant investment to ensure that we are competitive in today's marketplace and retain our reputation as a brand with great customer service,” said Bill Gamber, co-founder of Big Agnes. “By increasing our efficiency and expanding our warehouse space, we will continue to serve our retailers even better in the second half of 2009 and beyond.”

The wind purchase is another example of Big Agnes' ongoing commitment to become more sustainable. In 2008, they introduced their Re-Routtâ„¢ Collection, named in honor of Routt County Colorado where they are headquartered. The Re-Routtâ„¢ Collection features a series of products constructed using recycled fabrics, fills and hardware and/or environmentally sensitive manufacturing practices. March's Backpacker magazine awarded the new Big Agnes Salt Creek Recycled 2 tent with a 2009 Editors' Choice Green.
