Backpacker Apparel presents the New Fall ’19 Collection

The brand also introduces new hires in key regional territories as the company projects major initiatives and growth.
Publish date:

Fairfield, CT (February 24, 2019) — Inspired by our love of the great outdoors, the core of the Backpacker line remains our legacy, double-brushed, yarn-dyed flannel and enzyme-washed, 7.5 ounce canvas. In Fall 2019 we broaden our assortment “horizon” with the introduction of new fabrics and styles: for example, our 6.9 oz poly polar fleece outerwear as well as the introduction of a 21 wale corduroy shirt among other items. As true manufacturer’s – Backpacker Apparel brings “better” product to the moderate price zone and offers fabric variety and style opportunities to the outdoor apparel marketplace.

Family owned and operated with over 60 years of manufacturing experience - Backpacker Apparel began in 1976 as part of the Capital Mercury Apparel portfolio; the same company that proudly manufactured for such companies as Carhartt for many years. Backpacker Apparel has traded on better-fabrics and better-make garments all within the moderate price space. We source our own piece goods and manufacture shirts, outerwear and accessories – all with distribution from our Connecticut and Arkansas warehouse facilities.

As our company continues to grow, we are proud to introduce key former Woolrich executives to the Backpacker family:

Geoff Manning – New England

Ivan Pinkas – Mid-Atlantic

Paul Jones - South East

With their vast knowledge and expertise we look forward to a strong future within their territories and for the Backpacker brand.

This is truly a very exciting time for us here at Backpacker Apparel and we hope to share and present the NEW Backpacker Fall ’19 Assortments with you shortly.

Thank you,

David J. Bebon
