Arc’teryx Wins 2009 ACMG Industry Partner Award

North Vancouver, B.C. – Arc'teryx Equipment Inc., designers and manufacturers of technically superior outerwear, backpacks, and climbing harnesses is pleased to announce the company has been honored with the 2009 Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) Industry Partner Award.

A long time supporter of the ACMG, Arc'teryx was presented with the Industry Partner Award during the inaugural awards ceremony held at the ACMG offices in Canmore, Alberta on Saturday, September 26th.

"We really couldn't ask for a better partner than Arc'teryx. They have consistently stepped up to the plate whenever the ACMG has requested funds or equipment,” said Peter Tucker, Executive Director of the ACMG. “Our members are proud to use their outstanding gear and hold implicit trust in its workmanship and functionality."

The prestigious ACMG Industry Partner Award is a mark of distinction granted to business entities that provide exceptional support to the ACMG and their mission to protect the public interest by advocating the highest standards for mountain guiding and climbing instruction.

“We are constantly looking to build strategic partnerships with organizations that share the same values and objectives as Arc'teryx,” said John Irvine, Sports Marketing and Retail Co-op Manager for Arc'teryx. “We're excited to be allied with the ACMG and appreciate being recognized for our support of their programs.
