Venice, CA - April 21, 2015 – This year the Arbor Collective is celebrating 20 years making its innovative snowboard, skateboard, and clothing lines. At the double-decade mark, the Brand is still driven by its commitment to craftsmanship, performance, and environmental stewardship.

As Arbor tackles a new decade and new challenges, it has engaged The Mountain Lab to assist in the development of the brand’s expanding apparel program. “We have enjoyed watching Arbor grow over the years,” comments Mountain Lab President Scott McGuire, “It has been thoughtful growth with the brand articulating the values of sustainability and strong design ethos from the very beginning”.

Added Scott “Arbor’s appeal to their action sports consumer has been led by a natural aesthetic rooted in the skate and snow experience. These same elements are what we see as driving the trends in outdoor as well. The silos of Action Sports vs. Outdoor are melting away and Arbor is well positioned for this changing landscape.”

“We’re excited to see our world starting to intersect with an evolving outdoor market,” said Arbor’s Founder, Bob Carlson. “Today, backcountry snowboarding and downhill skateboarding are growing, and more riders than ever are finding themselves needing the gear and prep traditionally offered at outdoor retail. We see this an opportunity to partner with dealers that want to attract new customers. Arbor’s clothing line is a unique crossover tool for widening the appeal of any lifestyle apparel offering.”

The Arbor Clothing line is built on a tradition of unique designs for life lived in the pursuit of skating, snowboarding, and good times. The Collection connects quality, function, material, and art, with designs that emphasize comfort, construction, and value.

Arbor will be presenting their Spring/Summer 2016 collection in Venture Out at the Summer Market Outdoor Retailer Show and Agenda Long Beach.
