UFA announces stores acquired from Sportsman's Warehouse will be renamed Wholesale Sports

As was expected when UFA Co-operative Limited took possession of 15 Sportsman's Warehouse stores to satisfy terms of a loan agreement on March 11, 2009, UFA has renamed the stores Wholesale Sports. Those 15 U.S. stores now become part of a 23-store operation with retail doors in both the United States and Canada.

Those 15 U.S. stores now become part of a 23-store operation with retail doors in both the United States and Canada.

The store locations that UFA acquired and are now becoming Wholesale Sports stores are: Bend, Ore.; Bozeman, Mont.; Burlington, Wash.; Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Fargo, N.D.; Federal Way, Wash.; Helena, Mont.; Kennewick, Wash.; Lacey, Wash.; Missoula, Mont.; Portland, Ore.; Salem, Ore.; Silverdale, Wash.; Spokane, Wash.; and Vancouver, Wash.

UFA acquired Wholesale Sports, an Alberta, Canada-based, privately owned outdoor hunting, fishing and camping goods chain, now with eight stores throughout Western Canada and a strong e-commerce and mail-order business, in July 2008.
