Street, whose credits include one Olympic gold, one silver and two consecutive Overall World Cup titles, stated in a release: "I started skiing as a child in Idaho and am supportive of any program that brings more women and children to snow sports. I am thrilled to see the event has opened up to kids and will be promoted by a number of the resorts."

RSN, a national cable television and web network specializing in region-specific content for outdoor enthusiasts, will once again promote the event on the RSN Outdoor Update on CNN Headline News, on the Weather Channel in January, locally on the RSN television network, and in the RSN.com newsletter.
