Yuppie 911. As more outdoors people appear to be signaling the need for a rescue under ridiculous circumstances (click here to read The SNEWS View: Help me…I’m having a stupid moment) we began thinking: Why limit the Yuppie 911 stupid button to outdoor emergencies?

Wouldn’t it be great if we could use something like a SPOT to help us out at all times in our lives? You know, times like when the washer is halfway through the wash cycle and you suddenly wonder, "Did I put that $200 dry clean only sweater in the wash by mistake?" No worries if you have Yuppie 911...just push the button and somehow, the problem is magically solved.



So, in the spirit of having a few chuckles -- and we can all use a few more laughs -- we’d like to hear when you might feel it most useful to have a device you could activate and know help was on its way. We've provided a few selections below, and then a blank for you to have at it and give us your best scenario. Time to spread the giggles! Oh, and for the engineers and marketing team at SPOT, time to get ready to take notes...there's a business opportunity here, we just know it.
