Crocs asks SEC for filing extension

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Crocs (Nasdaq: CROX) has asked to extend the filing deadline for its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q. The company said it asked for the extension because it's still in the process of finalizing certain accounting estimates.

Crocs' third-quarter financial results will be released on Nov. 12.
