According to Loki, an article in a January 2007 trade publication featured O'Neill product that appeared to utilize Loki's patented design features. In addition, a 2007/2008 technical catalog from O'Neill also showed apparel with what appeared to be patented Loki design features.

Seth Anderson, Loki's founder, contacted O'Neill immediately, we were told. As of July 17, 2007, has received formal communication from O'Neill that the company will comply with Loki's request to stop producing apparel with Loki design features.
