Kristin Carpenter, Jared Ogden tie the knot in Telluride

After more than four years together, Kristin Carpenter, contributor to Shape magazine and PR maven for Metolius, La Sportiva and Nikwax, said "I do" on Sept. 14 to Jared Ogden, a climber and member of The North Face team. Set amidst the rolling hills of Telluride, Colo., the couple exchanged vows at Gorrono Ranch, a Basque sheep ranch built in the late 1800s, surrounded by nearly 100 family members and friends. Kristin was radiant (see, we can write like gossip hounds) in a fitted white gown and floor-length veil (no Gore-Tex on this girl) as her groom shed his climbing gear (and packed away his 'biners) to even wear a tux for the event. Even the family dog, Neva, was part of the merry event, walking down the aisle with a floral necklace accompanied by Kristin's ring-bearing nephew. The couple flew out on Monday to honeymoon on Maui with their son Tobin. SNEWS® View: We've all known them for ages, and we wish them heartfelt congratulations for many happy years together.
