For the second year, SNEWS® is partnering with the Health & Fitness Business show, this year as its official media sponsor, and will work with show management in planning education, speakers and getting news to the industry.
Of course, never one to miss a chance for a good time, SNEWS® (in partnership with its publications GearTrends® and FitBiz) will also be putting its head down to make sure we can infuse a little fun onto the show floor in and around the SNEWS®/GearTrends® booth.

"We're going to build on last year's success with invigorating education and speakers, as well bring smiles and energy to the show floor as only we can."
For Health & Fitness Business show management, the partnership with SNEWS® and GearTrends® means an even better show and consultation with the insider voice of the industry.

Registration for the show, Aug. 3-5, again in Denver, Colo., will be open by the end of March (go to www.healthandfitnessbiz.com for updates and more information). This year's event will again be structured like last year's:
>> On Thursday, Aug. 3, a keynote speaker will kick off the show from 8:30-10 a.m. The show will be announcing soon another speaker the likes of the 2005 keynote speaker, Harry Friedman. After a coffee break, SNEWS® will host yet another Fitness Forum from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Last year, we had a panel of top retailers and manufacturers address a variety of topics with the theme, "What have you done for me lately?" This year, we expect to hone that down and provide yet another scintillating and participatory session. Although there will be a lunch afterward, complimentary for morning conference attendees, the show will open an hour earlier – at 12 noon – while still closing at 6 p.m.
That evening will be the annual Industry Party. Oh boy, are there surprises coming here. Nope, not back at the brewery, but something different that will still offer food and good times. Stay tuned.
>> On Friday, Aug. 4, after a morning seminar, the show will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with casual networking at the SNEWS®/GearTrends® booth located next to the cyber café at the end of the day. Yes, beer is likely to be involved.
>> On Saturday, Aug. 5, after another morning seminar, the show will open at 10 a.m., but close per tradition at 2 p.m., allowing retail attendees to nail down their last appointments and deals.
Accell Fitness North America is this year's title sponsor. Others moving forward or upsizing on the floor include Fitnex, Lifecore, Stamina and New Balance Fitness. Among returning exhibitors is Life Fitness, with a larger booth after a few years of a simply a tiny presence, and Octane Fitness, returning to the floor for the second year. Others already signed up include Spirit Fitness, Quantum and Danskin Fitness.
