Gold's Gym is expanding its empire again, opening its 40th gym in the Washington, D.C., metro area. As luck would have it, the company's East Coast headquarters is a quarter mile away from the new location in the renovated Fairfax Plaza shopping center in Falls Church, Virg. In addition to the typical amenities, the 31,000-square-foot gym also has a women's-preferred workout area, nutritional counseling center, and kids' club
