GearTrends.com, a division of SNEWS LLC, and ConsumerReview.com, a division of E-centives Inc., have entered into an alliance to share content and trade links. The alliance will provide OutdoorReview.com users access to GearTrends® professional content and manufacturer's product information pages via prominent links on OutdoorReview.com's site.

GearTrends® users will now have access to OutdoorReview.com's thousands of consumer-generated product reviews through links on Buying Guides pages and elsewhere in the GearTrends.com site. The GearTrends® team will also provide consumer-targeted coverage of both Outdoor Retailer trade shows reporting on the trends and new products that OutdoorReview.com users will be most interested in.

"We are excited to be able to provide access to the professional content and leading new product information that GearTrends.com is known for," said Mike La Rotonda, senior director of business operations for ConsumerReview.com. "Our site visitors and reviewers are extremely passionate about new products and information making GearTrends an ideal partner."

"Adding the direct link to a site such as OutdoorReview.com featuring reviews written by and for consumers is just one more way to make GearTrends® visitors feel confident about the products they are researching to buy," said Michael Hodgson, co-publisher of GearTrends®. "Product reviews from OutdoorReview.com are a perfect match for the professional content we offer and will help to attract even more enthusiasts to our site."

Founded in 1998, and now a division of E-centives Inc., ConsumerReview.com operates 11 web sites that encompass the ConsumerReview.com network of vertical web communities, including OutdoorReview.com, MtbReview.com, and PhotographyReview.com. The company's review content is also available to millions of consumers through partnerships with sites such as eBay, BizRate.com and iWon.com.

GearTrends.com is a division of SNEWS LLC and part of the GearTrends® Network, which includes not only GearTrends.com, but also GearTrends® fitness and outdoor magazines for the trade, and Specialty NEWS -- www.SNEWSnet.com – an independent, advertising-free news source considered the best electronic information provider for the trade. GearTrends.com serves both consumer and trade with on-line access to leading new product and manufacturer information, professional product reviews, buying guides, a searchable retailer directory, and trade-only business resources.
