John Conti has joined ProSpot Fitness as national sales director as of mid-May. He spent the last year at Bodyguard Fitness about which Conti told SNEWS®, "I thoroughly enjoyed my tenure there." He joins founder and President Mike Slawinski at ProSpot to market and sell new and existing products, including new ones to debut at the Health & Fitness Business Show in Denver in August…. Herb Flentye has been named CEO/President of Spri Products where he had been COO since 2002. He fills a roll that had been vacant since founder/President Steve Block passed away a few years ago. In addition, Pat Miles was promoted to director of retail sales. Former retail sales director Steve Lindal has left the company….

Hibbett President Brian N. Priddy has resigned "to pursue other interests." Before joining Hibbett Sports in 2005, he was an executive vice president for furniture retailer Bombay Inc. His duties at Hibbett will be distributed among other members of senior management…. Joe Marcoux, national sales director for the last year at Mike Cochrane's RedZone Fitness, has left to start his own sales training company called Just Did It and to write a book. Said Cochrane, "You cannot hold someone back from their dreams and aspirations." ... Announcing new websites recently are Quantum Fitness, ProSpot Fitness and Harbinger Fitness.
