eVENT® fabric technology provides maximum comfort for aerobic activity in harsh environments and keeps your clothing layers Dry Inside™ by venting perspiration vapor through microscopic vents engineered into its membrane.

eVENT technology is being applied to all of the following: apparel (soft shell and hard shell), footwear, gloves, sleeping bags, bivy sacks, and single-wall tents.

Continuing improvements to the technology include increased durability, softer drape, lighter weight, better DWR, and, of course, ever increasing breathability.

What makes eVENT technology different than all other waterproof-“breathables”?
All other W/B's function by diffusing perspiration vapor through some solid barrier, usually polyurethane, whether it be a relatively thick layer or even the ultra-thin layer applied to one side of competing ePTFE membranes. eVENT Technology avoids use of any solid barrier and instead vents perspiration through unimpeded microscopic vents engineered into its ePTFE membrane.
