Your employees could be your most essential "brand ambassadors," according to an article by the Gallup organization. Gallup research shows that a company's "human touchpoints are vital and that the relationship between employee performance and customer engagement is key. "People often make a huge difference in the strength of a company's customer connections. People are not the only factor in building customer relationships, of course, but their contribution is substantial and striking," Gallup researchers note. The problem, the article goes on, is that "far too many employees have no idea what their company's brand promise is, even though they're supposed to be 'living" it.'"
