Ouch! According to the Inside Sporting Goods newsletter, "The decision by VF Corp. to ax some 2,300 employees in Martinsville, Virg., could force Henry Country to close four public schools."

Ouch! According to the Inside Sporting Goods newsletter, "The decision by VF Corp. to ax some 2,300 employees in Martinsville, Virg., could force Henry Country to close four public schools." The school system apparently loses $3.5 million in revenue due to the VF layoffs. Talk about negative impact.
