Briko announced today that its San Clemente, Calif.-based parent company, TypeTwenty, Inc., will be taking over the U.S. distribution of all Briko branded products from Tecnica. TypeTwenty was quick to point out that the three-year relationship with Tecnica USA has been very successful, which is what prompted the company to seek to acquire the distribution rights from Tecnica. "The fact that Tecnica has done such an incredible job of growing the Briko brand is one of the reasons that we wanted to purchase the rest of the company from them," said TypeTwenty general manager Andrew Herrick. "We see an excellent opportunity to expand Briko's reach both in products and markets." For more information, click on www.briko.com.
