The OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen has announced that it so far has 445 manufacturers from 30 countries signed up to exhibit, as well as representation from 650 brands.

The OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen has announced that it so far has 445 manufacturers from 30 countries signed up to exhibit, as well as representation from 650 brands. That is an increase of 7 percent over last year. From outside of Germany come about two of three exhibitors, the show announced. These companies include the likes of Asolo, Goetz Mode, Intersport Deutschland, Nike ACG. After not appearing at Outdoor for one or more years, returning companies include Lafuma, Millet, Odlo und Voekl. Click here for an exhibitor list.
SNEWS® View: This sounds great. Except not all is rosy on the outdoor trade show front in Germany. ispo has quietly rumbled about Outdoor copying some of the successful steps it has taken in growing the ispo show, which although in winter is known as THE place to be, so far struggles with its summer show, exhibitors have told SNEWS®, especially in the outdoor segments. That makes any copy-cat murmurs from Friedrichshafen hard to swallow, SNEWS® insiders have said.
