The Conservation Alliance announces its latest round of grants totaling $150,000. All getting $30,000 grants are: Atlantic Salmon Federation of Maine for the Penobscot River Restoration Initiative; California Wild Heritage for its campaign for wilderness designation on unprotected lands; Raincoast Conservation Foundation of British Columbia for grassroots organizational work; Sierra Club to rally support for its grizzly bear ecosystems protection program; and Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance to build support to protect 9 million acres of redrock desert country.
