Former Life-Link sales manager Steve Kropf and product designer Jack Koehler have started their own company as of last fall. Called Indigo Equipment and based in Carbondale, Col., Kropf tells SNEWS® the company will specialize in backcountry equipment. It plans to soft-launch its product to select dealers in late summer or early fall, and will exhibit at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in January 2003.
