The Outdoor Industry Association Board released the following statement regarding the SIA and VNU tradeshow wrestling match following its board meeting on Friday: "It is imperative that the outdoor industry has a very strong winter show. The Outdoor Industry Association does not want to see the strength, momentum, and culture of the winter show jeopardized. The overlap of the SIA and OR shows next winter is not in the best interest of the health of the industry and we encourage both SIA and VNU to come to quick resolution on the conflict. The Outdoor Industry Association board will actively follow these discussions to ensure the solution will best serve the interests of the outdoor industry. We are committed to representing and protecting the outdoor community and will work toward an economical solution that maintains the passionate and unique identity of the outdoor industry."
