Nike ACG has launched its own brand web site at www.nikeacg.com. The flash-based site will serves as a platform for information about ACG outdoor footwear, apparel and equipment and the sources of its inspiration. "The site allows ACG to communicate in a deep, meaningful way with the outdoor community," said Rob Mitchell. "Nike has so many stories to tell from a design and product development perspective, and ACG specifically has a rich community of partners, athletes and employees that inspire us. The web is an excellent medium for us to share these stories." Fall '02 product information will lead off with a primary focus on the company's new Oregon Series. Visitors can also read the latest from the Ford Gorge Games and profiles on Nike partners, professional athletes and employees. Interested buyers can purchase product from ACG's online shop, which is powered by Altrec.com, or by visiting their local Nike ACG dealer listed in the dealer locator. Expanded content, features and functions will follow in coming months.
