What do Black Diamond and Liquidlogic Kayaks have in common? A new kayak security bar, which is part of an industry partner program initiated by Liquidlogic. The Liquidlogic Security Bars will be manufactured at the Black Diamond facility in Salt Lake City and will be made of high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum (7075-T6). The wide diameter of the bars is more ergonomic, making them easier on the hands while also being approximately 20-percent lighter. The Security Bars will be standard on all Liquidlogic whitewater kayaks and serve multiple purposes. They easily and securely attach to Thule Car Racks; offer a solid anchor point in rescue situations where hauling a boat may be necessary and serve as handles for loading and unloading.
