Neide Cooley, president of the Outdoor Industry Women's Council, as of December an advisory committee to the Outdoor Industry Association, has told SNEWS® there is a transition in process for the OIWC, which had been a specialty sub-group of the association. " The OIA has created a task force to define and establish some consistent guidelines for the numerous specialty groups under the OIA umbrella," she said. " The task force will present its work plan and proposed schedule at the OIA board meeting in January."
