National Geo won in the categories of General Excellence for magazines with circulations in the 200,000-500,000 range and in the category of Personal Service. This year's program, the 37th in the annual gala event, attracted 1,495 print and online entries. The 97 finalists were chosen by a screening panel composed of 160 editors, art directors, educators and new media experts. The 19 winners were chosen by a separate panel of 75 judges.
