Montrail had a small booth at the ispo show and was using the positioning primarily to look for agents to represent the company in Europe, said company rep Troy Trimmer. "We are adjusting our past sales strategy," he told SNEWS®. The past strategy was to use distributors, but agent-reps will allow the company to have more control over the message as well as to eliminate the middle-man and extra layer of pricing. Currently, the company isn’t selling broadly in France, Germany or Italy, but expects to be soon.
