MESP, producer of the likes of the Hi-Tec Adventure Racing Series, has partnered with Octagon, a Stamford, Conn.-based sports marketing agency. MESP (Michael Epstein Sports Productions) has joined the company's marketing division, and founder Michael Epstein joined Octagon as the group director in the agency's lifestyle group. MESP was established in 1991, and will remain in its Southern California headquarters. "The addition of Michael Epstein and MESP, Inc., greatly enhances our capabilities and experience in endurance and adventure racing," said Mark Bingham, president of Octagon Marketing North America. "MESP is a perfect complement to Octagon's current portfolio of lifestyle events, which includes the Gravity Games and the Subaru Gorge Games. With MESP in the Octagon family, we strengthen our position as a leader in action and adventure sports."
