Mark Tedeschi, co-founding partner of Meridian Communications, a public relations firm in the outdoor industry, has departed to launch True North.

Mark Tedeschi, co-founding partner of Meridian Communications, a public relations firm in the outdoor industry, has departed to launch True North, a full-service marketing communications and brand-building firm targeting brands in the sporting goods and outdoor sectors. Sue Killoran, formerly at Tecnica, and Garff Hubbard have joined Tedeschi. True North has launched with a strong roster of clients including Kamik performance outdoor footwear, Tecnica ski and hiking, Volkl skis, snowboards and tennis racquets, Tubbs Snowshoes, Asics athletic footwear and apparel, INCHworm children's footwear, Nalgene, and J Shoes, a UK-based fashion footwear company launching in the US for the Spring 03 season.
