Looking for a winter adventure? How about mountain biking across Siberia? The Trans-Baykal-Bike Expedition across the frozen Lake Baykal will take place starting Feb. 15. Trip sponsors are asking for applications from people 18-23 years of age from different countries, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, England, Holland, Sweden, United States, and Canada. Six will be chosen to participate, all expenses paid, all gear taken care of by sponsors, including W.L. Gore, ispo - the sports community, Jack Wolfskin, and Scott USA. The trip will last about one month, and applications are due Dec. 31. For details, go to www.TBB-Expedition.com.
