What does one find on the cover of the American Council on Exercise's May/June Fitness Matters newsletter? Kayakers. With the cover line, "Go with the Flow, ACE's guide to kayaking for fun and fitness." The story interviews a Port Angeles, Wash.-based ACA kayak instructor, as well as the editor of Sea Kayaker magazine in its discussion of what kayaking can offer the fitness enthusiast, stretches to think about, and bits of basic information describing kayaks. Plus, web site links are given to the ACA, British Canoe Union, TAPS, and Sea Kayaker magazine. www.acefitness.org but you have to be a member to get the story. SNEWS® View: On May 14 in a byte (click here) we told you about another fitness magazine with a cover story on rock climbing. Same month, and we have kayaking. We know this crossover between fitness and outdoor won't stop, but will only grow, and we hope companies like yours are tapping into it, not only to sell gear, but to educate and inform.
