John Fleck, vice president of sales and marketing at Bell Canoe Works, sent SNEWS® a note that he's left the company to go back to school. Despite the fact that classes started Monday, Fleck said he'll continue to handle some marketing duties -- PR, copywriting, ad and web work -- for Bell in a freelance capacity.

The bulk of Fleck's former in-house duties are being handed off to Dennis Davidson, who will handle image requests, ad inquiries, promotions and other general marketing-related issues. Davidson is the point of contact for Bell-related ad, marketing and media issues, and is available at dennis@bellcanoeworks.com or 763-631-2231.

Fleck will be still be available at john@bellcanoeworks.com for Bell requests -- or jbwoodruff@hotmail.com, if you know of anyone looking for a copywriter.
