Galyan's Trading Co. (Nasdaq: GLYN) President and Chief Operating Officer Joel L. Silverman resigned from the company to "pursue other interests." It was also announced that Silverman has resigned from the board. The company said in today's press release that Chief Executive Robert B. Mang has assumed Silverman's responsibilities while the company searches for a new chief operating officer.
