It's time again to do the Wasatch Wobble. That of course is the approximately 5K run/walk/hike organized by Montrail in the Red Butte Gardens during the summer Outdoor Retailer show. Montrail, KAVU, Layers, Trail Runner Magazine, Ultimate Directions, Clif Bar and DeFeet are sponsors of this year’s event. Wobblers know this is not just any ol' fun, but is always unpredictable. Past Wobbles have given accolades to not just the fastest runner, but also to participants who have brought back the largest live tarantula, constructed a couch, carried a rock, or rolled in the mud. This year, it's Saturday Aug. 10 at 6:30 a.m. Bus transport from the Salt Palace will be provided. Sign up by going by the Montrail (Booth #1613) for a Wobble number, Layers shirt, information and map. Numbers can also be picked up at the event. For more information, please contact Boo Turner or Jenny Uehisa at Montrail, (206) 621-9303.
