The international trade fair for sporting goods, ispo, in Munich, Germany, is seeking new brands with innovative and fresh fitness and health products for a newly established program to launch at the winter show in February 2007.
Called "WarmUp," the program is modeled after a so-called Greenhouse Project in the outdoor segment that helps new and unknown companies -- those not in business longer than about two or three years -- with innovative products that have not sold in Europe. Those selected get a chance to exhibit their products in an area set up specifically for the WarmUp program with small pre-done booths and support from ispo to be noticed by retailers and media.
"WarmUp is a helpful and innovative platform to recruit new brands to the business. The success is guaranteed," said Jose Moreno-Tapia, ispo community manager for fitness, about the new initiative.
The deadline has been extended from its initial early November date to allow for more applicants, Moreno-Tapia told SNEWS®.
